Joshua Topolsky is the co-founder and Editor-in-chief of The Verge, and Vice President at Vox Media. The Verge is a revolutionary online publication which covers the intersection of technology, science, art, business, policy, and culture. Joshua was named Adweek’s 2012 Digital Editor of the Year. The Verge took home five Webby Awards in 2013, was nominated for a 2014 ASME National Magazine Award in video, and was a finalist in the 2013 Online Journalism Awards for general excellence. Josh is the resident technology expert for The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, a former Washington Post columnist, and has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, Fast Company, and Fortune Magazine. He makes regular appearances on Bloomberg TV, NPR, NBC, ABC, and CNN, and hosts the Vergecast, a popular weekly podcast.
Prior to founding The Verge and co-creating Vox Media, Joshua was the editor-in-chief of Engadget from 2008 to 2011. Josh has spent his life exploring a creative curiosity, from a childhood spent tinkering with computers and electronics, through his formative years touring the world as a music producer and DJ.
