But what about Josh as a human?

Joshua Topolsky is the resident tech expert on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and an authoritative voice on technology and consumer electronics. He has been featured in the New York Times, USA Today, Fast Company, Fortune, and AdWeek. A lifelong tinkerer, Joshua had his first computer at age 6 (a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A), and has been breaking apart (and piecing back together) technology since phones had rotary dialers.
In November of 2011, Joshua launched technology news site The Verge in partnership with Vox Media. He also hosts The Vergecast, a weekly podcast, as well as On The Verge, a talk show focused on technology and technology culture. In addition, Josh writes a weekly column for The Washington Post called The Verge.
Joshua formerly headed Engadget as Editor-in-chief, overseeing the creative and editorial content for the tech news site. Joshua created and hosted The Engadget Show, and previously co-hosted the Engadget Podcast with senior editors Paul Miller and Nilay Patel.
Prior to mid-2007, he produced music with his brother Eric, and never woke up before noon.
